Practical Activism Conference: Tools for Local and Global Change

The Practical Activism Conference is a daylong, student led conference which features a keynote speaker, ten workshops, various on and off campus organizations, performances, and a variety of hands-on activism activities.

Next year’s conference will be the 13th annual, and will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in the College Nine and College Ten Multipurpose Room, UC Santa Cruz.

This year Practical Activism Conference team is going greenER! To participate in reducing waste with us please bring your own water bottle, coffee cup, and utensils to enjoy our tasty snacks and drinks! We are also making this year’s program available online here. Access this at the conference instead of taking a paper program! We are also excited to be utilizing the zero waste team’s expertise to have Zero Waste Stations at the conference, learn more about reducing your carbon footprint at any station!
